The fully heat-treated aluminum alloy mountings offer strength. These polished and machine finished mountings also ensure an ideal handle-to-post-fit. They are lightweight but extremely strong.
The properly sized and fitted hardened steel rivets, holding the mounting to the blade, provide added strength.
