Shipping & Delivery Policy

Effective Date: April 23, 2025

At Wholesale Welding Supplies, we are committed to getting your orders to you quickly and safely. Please read our shipping and delivery policy below to understand how and when your items will be delivered, and what to expect if something goes wrong.

Order Processing & Dispatch

  • Orders for stock items are typically dispatched within 1–2 working days after payment clearance.
  • Orders are fulfilled Monday through Sunday, and dispatched Monday to Saturday.
  • Cut-off time for same-day processing: 3:00 PM (GMT Dublin).


Delivery Timelines

  • Standard Delivery: Estimated to arrive within 2 to 5 working days after dispatch.
  • Special Order / Backordered Items: Dispatched within 5 to 10 working days.
    We will notify you by email if there are any delays beyond 14 days and offer you the right to cancel and receive a full refund for those items.


Shipping Method & Cost

  • Orders are shipped via Courier Service (e.g. Nightline / DPD) for packages up to 30kg.
  • Flat Rate Shipping Fee: €8.13 per order (VAT applicable based on destination).
  • Orders are delivered to the customer’s provided address only.

Delivery Notes & Instructions

  • You can enter special delivery requests (e.g., delayed shipping date) in the “Add Comments about Your Order” box during checkout.
  • Please note: Alternative delivery addresses cannot be accepted for credit/debit card payments.

VAT & Taxation

  • VAT is calculated based on the delivery destination.
    Orders within Ireland and the EU will have VAT applied at checkout.

Undeliverable Orders & Re-shipping Fees

  • Orders returned to us due to failed delivery (e.g., incorrect address or unanswered contact calls) are subject to:
    • A re-handling/re-shipping fee of €8.13 + VAT
    • Refunds will only cover product value—initial delivery and return fees will not be refunded.
  • Couriers attempt delivery 3–4 times, and will call the provided number. If you miss these attempts, the package will be returned.

Claims & Damaged Goods

To ensure fast resolution, please report issues promptly:

  • Damage on Delivery:
    Inspect packages at delivery. If damaged, note this on the courier's delivery slip and inform us within 24 hours.
  • Shortages or Incorrect Items:
    Check package count on arrival and report any discrepancies within 48 hours.
  • Non-delivery:
    Contact us if your package has not arrived within the expected timeframe.

Note: We cannot accept liability unless issues are reported within these timeframes.
